Calabrian Chile Pepper

$3.75

Capsicum annuum

“Peperone Picante Calabrese”  Very popular Italian heirloom cherry pepper.  Also known as Calabrian chile.

Medium hot mini cherry pepper about the size of a large cherry with a smoky fruity flavor.  Produces an abundance of medium hot peppers on a bushy 2-3′ tall plant.  Goes from green to deep shiny red.  I have bought these and seen them used in a jar chopped up in olive or sunflower oil.  Great on sandwiches, pizza, in soups, cooked with veggies, so many uses.  Can also be pickled.   These grow well in 3 gallon containers too.    Ready about 70 days
