Classic Heirloom that has been around since 1944.  Vidalia type sweet onion.  Short Day variety makes it another great onion for Florida gardeners.  Brown skin white flesh, globe shaped Vidalia type onion.  Great quality and flavor, not too pungent.

Onions are shallow rooted and require ample amounts of water to form nice size bulbs.

    Onions are shallow rooted and require ample amounts of water to form nice size bulbs.   Start seeds indoors mid to end of July to plant in September.  Can be direct seeded in August but starting indoors in July gives a good head start.
