Biennial Herb That is known to have anti viral properties and has shown to fight viruses. Also known to have sedative, calming properties. Use for hot and cold tea for an extra lemony addition while benefiting from its medicinal properties. Volatile essential oils made from this herb have more fragrance than flavor.
Germination: 70°, 10-14 days, seeds need light to germinate.
Sprinkle a few seeds in seed starting mix, barely cover with soil. Transplant to larger container or plant out after last frost. If planted in ground it will die back in winter but will grow back in spring. If kept in a container bring inside for frost or freeze. Repot when root bound or can propagate by cuttings or separating.
When taking cutting for use or other always leaves a third of the plant.
