Description
(Lycopersicon lycopersicum)
Indeterminate. These 1′ size fruits have a complex gourmet flavor and thin skins. They grow in clusters of 8 on vines ripening to a rich mahogany, port wine color. Plants will sprawl to about 3 feet if you let them. Pick fruit a little early to avoid splitting. Sure to be one of your favorites! Hard to find variety.
Ready 70 days from transplant.

Tasty, but the size of these tomatoes was inconsistent. Some were the size of the cherry tomatoes you see in the picture. Others grew to the size of a full-size tomato. What’s the problem with that? Bugs. By the time the tomato grew so large and ripened, the Florida bugs were all over it, and many of them wasted. That’s what I like about the cherry tomatoes; they tend to ripen before the bugs get them. But if that’s not a problem for you, I highly recommend them.

I have a chocolate cherry, cherokee purple mix. That is probably what you have, some of each. Yes bugs in Florida are a battle!
