Utah Tall Celery has been around since 1953 for a reason.  It’s great celery!  Crisp 12″ stalks that have  deep dark green leaves with tender tasty stalks.  Celery is a moisture loving crop so consistent regular watering is a must.  You can harvest the whole plant leaving an inch above the soil and it will regrow.  Or you can harvest individual stalks from the  outside as needed.

Growing Celery:  Germination temperature 65-75° ,  sow seeds one eighth of an inch in sterile seed mix.  They are slow to germinate and can take up to 25 days or so.  Transplant when 3″ tall.  Space 8″ apart in rows 20-24″ apart.  Celery will bolt if night temperatures go below 55° for more than 8 days or so.

    Celery requires a long cool growing season. Best grown in coolest part of year.
    Afternoon shade in hottest months help. Above 75° or extreme temperature change can cause celery to bolt (send out seed stalks).
