Beautiful average 2 ft. tall plants with red-purple veins tinged with purple frilly leaves.  Known to be the mildest of all kales.  Like all kales, best flavor after a frost.  Cold hardy to 15 degrees.  Can be planted out September through February here in Florida.  Very nutritous, rich in calcium, iron, and vitamins A, C, and K.
