First introduced by W. Altee Burpee in 1924.  Large deep green leaves with white stems and veins.  All season green that is tolerant of light frost and heat!  Great year round green.  Plant out spring and fall.  Use like spinach or other green.  As all chard, it make a beautiful addition to any garden.  Cut individual stalks or all of them at the plants base.  Will re grow from the middle.
