Also called buttercrunch this 19th century American Heirloom has won awards for heat tolerance and is  slow to bolt.   Perfect lettuce for home gardeners and market gardens.  Buttery smooth thick leaves that form a small head.  Great for lettuce wraps.  Called “All the year round ” because it tolerates heat better than most and light frosts.  Harvest outer leaves while allowing smaller leaves to continue to grow to extend harvests.  Ready 65 days from seed.
